Biography

Alex Capri is a globally recognized trade, logistics, and value chain expert, combining over 20 years of practical and academic experience. He is a Visiting Senior Fellow at the National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School and lectures at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, teaching MBA, MSc, and Executive Education programs on global value chains, digital trade, and the future of industries. Previously, Alex was Partner and Regional Leader of KPMG’s Asia Trade & Customs Practice, and Managing Director at KPMG US. Early in his career, he served as a trade specialist with the U.S. Treasury Department and the U.S. Customs Service. Alex is also a Research Fellow at the Hinrich Foundation and a regular World Economic Forum panelist. A sought-after thought leader, he contributes to Forbes Asia and Nikkei Asia and is frequently cited in The Economist, Financial Times, and Wall Street Journal.
